FLIGBY Simulation and Assessment
“FLIGBY” simulation informs and gives examples to managers/leaders how effectively to create an environment in which Flow can flourish.
The purpose of this simulation is to teach the application of Flow-based leadership skills via FLIGBY. FLIGBY measures 29 management/leadership skills; 25 of the 29 skills can be found in most theoretical and empirical descriptions leadership. You will identify leadership skills that are critical for helping to generate and maintain FLOW within organizations. We must have a conviction that our existence serves a useful purpose and has value. We want to work for a cause and not just for a living. Hence, your challenge as the recently appointed GM of the fictional Turul Winery in California will be to achieve a state of harmony and cooperation in a team significantly weakened by internal conflicts due to the dysfunctional leadership style of a previous GM.
